Call for applications, Enescu Competition 2024
Applications are open for the 19th Enescu Competition 2024, in Bucharest, Romania!
Young musicians are invited to apply for cello, violin, piano and composition. Register now and you will have the opportunity to join the four live rounds in September at the beautiful Romanian Atheneum from September 1st to 29th. Great prizes will encourage and bring to the world the most talented competitors. The deadline for registration is May 10th for cello, violin and piano and June 30th for composition.

Mezzo's travel to Ljubljana from August 27th to 30th
Mezzo and the travel agency La Fugue team up to create an unforgettable journey to Ljubljana, Slovenia, taking you to the heart of the exceptional program at the Ljubljana Festival. Throughout three days, the music will be outstanding: the dazzling pianist Bruce Liu, the talented violinist Vilde Frang, the renowned tenor Juan Diego Florez, the great maestro Antonio Pappano with the very famous London Symphony Orchestra, and the innovative conductor Oksana Lyniv will be your performers for these few days out of space.
Mezzo's journalist, bassoon player, and author Antoine Pecqueur will accompany our travellers and provide two engaging talks that delve into Slovenia’s rich musical heritage and music. Amid these special concerts, you will have the opportunity to wander through Slovenia's historic and its naturally beautiful landscapes. Cultural tours will enhance your stay, taking your experience beyond music.Adventurers keen on extending their exploration will have the possibility to extend their trip until September 1st to experience Piran's Tartini Festival as well as the enchanting Škocjan Caves.
